View dispensed microdrops with a compact monitoring camera.
The drop watch camera is a compact system for visualizing and calibrating microdrops. Compatible with all Polypico dispensing heads and software applications, the system includes a lighting source, magnifying lens, and camera in a single assembly. The camera allows clear and easy observation of droplet formation and trajectory, as well as precise volume calibration.
Discuss this system Explore features & specifications ↓Users typically employ the drop watch camera system alongside the microdispensing instrument or Externally Triggered Dispenser Control Module, as well as any Morrigan Dynamics dispensing heads. The system is commonly integrated into industrial dispensing setups, where custom robotic platforms hold the dispensing heads. Furthermore, its flexibility makes the camera ideal for a wide range of precision applications.
includes all the components and software required to monitor and calibrate drops seamlessly. First, position the nozzle of the dispensing cartridge in the lens focal plane. Next, connect the illumination to the control module and link the camera to the PC. Once everything is set up, you're ready to start imaging the drops.
The users can detach the imaging system components from the mounting plate and integrate them directly into their application. This setup offers exceptional flexibility, allowing to adjust the distance between the illumination and the drops being observed. Additionally, a range of lenses with varying working distances between the drop and lens are available upon request The imaging system components may be detached from the mounting plate and fitted directly to your application.
Monitor the formation of droplets during various stages of the ejection process, as well as their flight path. The software enables calibrating the volume of liquid in each dispensed drop.
